Before their meaningful ceremony, they stopped by their favorite bourbon bar for a good luck shot, including special bottles they had saved from a trip along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. They spent the day soaking in time together and with Tyler’s kids, who were so excited to officially welcome Morgan into their family.
Between the soft spring blooms around downtown Taylorville, beautiful florals, and all the joy surrounding them, it was such a sweet beginning to this next chapter together!

Over the last 15 years of documenting my couples on the best day of their lives, I’ve met so many amazing people who quickly turned into friends. I hope that can be our story, too.
On the rare occasion that I’m not capturing a special moment, you can catch me spending my time with an incredible man who makes me laugh until I cry. I also tend to believe that a house is not a home until paw prints paint the floors. And admittedly, I cry at most movies, especially the romantic ones. Editing days consist of Dr. Pepper and take-out, while days off require country drives and visiting local wineries to listen to live music and take in a golden sunset. Hands down, it’s one of the best parts about Central Illinois.
